Mr. Waldman is a shareholder with Stradling, Yocca, Carlson & Rauth, leading the firm’s Los Angeles–based M&A group. Tom provides strategic legal advice to corporate clients and investors in alternative assets. He has worked with private equity funds, including several SPAC sponsors, for more than 25 years.

Before joining Stradling, Tom served as Managing Director, Legal with the Gores Group, where he advised on M&A, corporate finance, public offerings, structured equity investments, fund formation, and distressed investments, including acquisitions under Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code.

Earlier, Mr. Waldman was a partner in the private equity practice group at Bingham McCutchen, and at its predecessor firm, Riordan & McKinzie.
